Allen Event Center

Groves Electrical service and The Hunt Group teamed up again for a beautiful state of the art project. The Allen Event Center is a 6,275 fixed-seat multi-purpose arena located in Allen, Texas. It opened on November 6, 2009. The center will serve home to concerts, trade shows, professional sporting events, festivals, community ceremonies and a Central Hockey League (CHL) franchise.

Eisemann Center

Adam Hats Loft

Groves Electrical Service was chosen for the immense remodel of this Dallas land mark and truly historical building . This 4-story, red brick building was built by Henry Ford as a production plant for Model T's (Graham was Ford's corporate architect in 1913). In 1925, Ford moved to a new plant, though they continued to use the building as a warehouse and showroom. In 1955, Adam Hats, a subsidiary of Miller Brothers Hat Co., Inc., bought the building. In 1986, Adam Hats vacated the building, leaving it empty. Westdale Asset Management Co., who also rehabilitated the 2220 Canton Lofts, bought the building in 1997 and hired Corgan &Associates to renovate the site into 90 loft apartments. Groves Electrical Service was able to accomplish the monumental task of upgrading the 1913 building up to current building standards.

The Beat Condos

This beautiful 10 story ground up apartment project bears the Groves Electrical Service Inc. signature. An urban vision. A modern space. A tough job to build in the middle of a large city. Groves Electrical Service Inc. was able to work to keep traffic flowing as the building came out of the ground. A progressive community. At the center of the City. You can park your car and leave it for days. Walk to dinner at Sala, listen to some Jazz at Brooklyn Jazz Care, catch some tunes at Poor David's Pub or The Loft, dance the night away at Gilley’s, jam to your favorite band at The Palladium Ballroom, view some art exhibitions at South Side on Lamar and then cross the street to hop a train to the American Airlines Center and Victory Park.

Plano Municpal Center

Groves Electrical Service was selected by the Hunt Group to wire this complicated project consisting of the remodel and addition to the old city hall. Groves Electrical Service was able to install the electrical for the new building while keeping the power uninterrupted for the existing facility. New features Groves Electrical installed include City Offices, Council Chamber, 911 Call Center, Generator, and Clock Tower. The remodel converted the old city hall to the building inspection department and various city offices. This project was our first to surpass one million dollars completed in 1991

Farmers Branch Justice Center

Chosen by the city of Farmers Branch, Groves Electrical Service installed the electrical for the Police and Courts Building. Seeking to both expand the facility & create a strong presence for the police department, a 2' thick, 600' long limestone wall was wrapped around the existing facility, serving as the perimeter for the new addition & a new gateway to the original structure. Groves Electrical Service Inc. had to work hand in hand with the Police and Courts departments to keep business as usual while the addition was under construction. After the completion of the expansion Groves Electrical Service Inc. again work with the Police and Courts for the change over to the new building. The project consisted of Judges Chambers, Jail, 911 call center, and Court room.

Sachse High School Garland ISD

Wylie East High School

Gallagher Construction Services and Groves Electrical Service continue there working relasionship that started about 1970. This 267,000-square foot High School for Wylie ISD includes a 1,000 ­­­­­seat auditorium, fine arts rooms and competition athletic facilities. Site improvements included lighted Junior Varsity football field, access road, lighted parking lots, utilities, landscaping and irrigation.

Lancaster High School Football Stadium

Lancaster voters approved a $110 million bond package in February 2004 - $65.3 million of which was dedicated to the construction of a new high school complex with athletic facilities, a stadium, and an auditorium. Groves Electrical Service Inc. was the only choice for stadium. With Groves Electrical Service Inc. leading the way the new Lancaster High School campus opened on August 21, 2006. As of the 2008, there were a total of 1,824 students enrolled at Lancaster High School. This is another in the long list of High School Football projects we are proud to have been a part of.

RAILROAD STREET ATHLETIC COMPLEX

LEWISVILLE, TX

As the Electrical Contractor, Groves Electrical Service was key to this successful 200 acre park project. This park includes Sports Lighting for 10, Soccer Fields, 4, Football Fields, 4, Baseball Fields, Skate Park, and Dog Park. Groves Electrical Service also wired 6, buildings. They included a Football Concession/Restroom building, Baseball Concession/Restroom building, Soccer Concession/Restroom Building, Skate/Dog park Restroom building, a Maintenance building, and an Irrigation building. Groves also installed the Street and Parking lot lighting for the City of Lewisville. The project was completed and opened in the fall of 2009.

Holiday Inn Select

8 story, 244 room, 4 star Hotel at the entrance to Love Field Airport. Groves completed the complete remodel in 1999. On-site amenities include the Sporting News Grill & Bar, an outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness facility, business centre and ample meeting space. Wireless Internet access is provided throughout the property.

Hilton Hotel Rockwall, TX

Groves Electrical Service Inc. a proud member of the construction team for this 198,632 sf, 5 story 233 guest room full service Hilton Hotel. Amenities: 11,870 square-foot Bella Harbor Ballroom, 15 meeting rooms and 25,000 square feet of meeting space, outdoor pool with whirlpool, wine bar, wine cellar, pool side bar, roof terrace, library, gift shop, day spa, and 233 rooms.

Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center

Groves Electrical Service Inc. and Core Construction worked together to build this 83,845 sq. ft. City of Plano Pool and Recreation Center. Amenities include a 4,300 SF indoor competition pool, a 6,300 SF indoor leisure pool, a 3,000 SF bathhouse, a 7,800 SF outdoor leisure pool, two indoor pools and three outdoor pools that have water slides. The gym is 12,000 SF with a 4,200 SF running track inside and outside of the gym.
